 COMPETITION STRUCTURE & AWARDS

At the TeenEagle Maths Global Finals, participants are evaluated through three competitive rounds designed to assess different dimensions of mathematical ability.

The Global Finals bring together students who have qualified through the TeenEagle competition rounds, forming a strong international cohort.

Each round focuses on a different aspect of mathematical thinking, including computation, analytical reasoning, and creative problem-solving.

The competition is informed by internationally recognised approaches to problem-solving, including methods commonly associated with the Cambridge system.

• Written Exam

• Logical Minds Challenge

• Rapid Fire Round

Together, these rounds measure quantitative knowledge, analytical reasoning, creativity, and speed of thinking.

At the TeenEagle Maths Global Finals, participants compete in several age categories.

AGE CATEGORIES

Participants compete within their respective age divisions:

TMC1 • TMC2 • TMC3 • TMC4 • TMC5 • TMC6

All rankings and awards are determined separately within each age category.

MEDAL AWARDS

Medal 1

Quantitative & Computational Mathematics Written Exam — 60%  ,  Rapid Fire Round — 40%

Medal 2

Logical & Analytical Thinking Logical Minds Challenge — 100%

OVERALL CHAMPION TROPHY

The Overall Champion is determined using the combined score from three rounds:

Written Exam — 30%

Rapid Fire Round — 20%

Logical Minds Challenge — 50%

Awards & Recognition

The Ovhe Overall Champion trophies (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) are awarded based on both ranking and performance standards

• Trophies are awarded selectively to ensure that recognition reflects a high standard of mathematical performance

• The number of trophies awarded in each age category may vary depending on the overall performance level

• In some cases, fewer than three trophies may be awarded

Additional Notes

• Awards are determined independently for each TMC level

• All scores are standardised to ensure fairness across participants

Rapid Fire Showcase Recognition
